ECO-32
Power and Portability of Magnetic Drill
Impress Owner of Sand & Gravel Company
Sterling
Sand and Gravel Company, located in Sterling, Connecticut, uses
the slow-down they typically experience in the winter to produce
conveyors for their own use and for sale to others. The company
has found that this is an economical alternative to purchasing
the very expensive 60-foot conveyors.
Sterling
Sand and Gravel's Owner, Erick Smith, says that they had been
using a conventional hand-held drill for this construction work
until it burned out. He bought a CS Unitec ECO-32 Magnetic Drill
as a replacement, a decision that he's very glad that he made.
He chose the ECO-32 because it is lightweight yet powerful. He
needs to be able to easily carry it to the work site and use it
with a portable generator. Weighing only 24 pounds, the ECO-32
is designed for drilling up to 1-1/4" diameter holes in structural
steel. This versatile tool can also use conventional twist drills,
and it easily converts for use with a 1/2" geared chuck.
Smith has
found the difference between the ECO-32 and his previous drill
to be "like night and day. The CS Unitec drill is designed for
serious drilling. It has amazing strength for such a small size,
and it makes overhead drilling much easier." |
