Welcome to the World of Carltsoe Safety Tools.
Manufacturing High-quality Non-sparking, Non-magnetic and Non-corrosive Carltsoe Safety Tools since 1956. With more than 50 years of experience, Carltsoe Safety Tools is the leader of special Copper Alloy Safety Hand Tools manufactured for use in any high risk area where a spark can create a disaster. Carltsoe Non-Sparking Safety Tools are recommended for use where hazardous, flammable or combustible vapors, liquids, dusts or residues are present and should be used by all industrial safety programs. Carltsoe Non-Sparking Safety Tools are an inexpensive investment for your company. Carltsoe Non-Magnetic Safety Tools are tested according to NATO specification STANAG 2897 Annex C, where the magnetic value is measured in Nano Teslar. This enables our Tools to be used around sensitive magnetic equipment, including scanners, de-mining, disarming, etc. Our Tools are NATO stock numbered. Carltsoe Corrosion Resistant Safety Tools are the ideal choice when working in marine and offshore environments. Corrosion / rust can be extremely dangerous in hazardous environments. Impacts involving rust can initiate a thermal reaction which can cause an ignition in an explosive atmosphere. It is important that the user of Carltsoe Safety Tools keeps the Tools in clean working order. Like other personal protection equipment, is it each user’s duty to inspect the Tools before use. Carltsoe offers over 3000 individual Tools made from Special Solid Copper-Based Alloyed Tools. We manufacture and supply our Carltsoe Safety Tools in two different alloys: Copper-Beryllium Alloy (CuBe2) and a Special Aluminium-Bronze Alloy (AlBr). International Regulation for Work in Ex or ATEX zones demands the right equipment. Carltsoe Copper-Beryllium Tools (CuBe2) fulfill the demand in the European ATEX directive for work in Zone 0, 1 and 2 (Gas, Mists or Vapors). Zones 20, 21 and 22 (Dusts). M1 and M2 for mining. Carltsoe Aluminium-Bronze Tools (AlBr) fulfill the demand in the European ATEX directive for work in Zones 1 and 2 (Gas, Mists or Vapors). Zones 21 and 22 (Dusts).Gas, Mists or Vapors
All Carltsoe Safety Tools are laser engraved according to Ex/ATEX classifications and our own marking procedure. ATEX guidelines will be provided upon request.
