What is a Swivel Base Magnetic Drilling Machine?
A swivel base magnetic drilling machine is a magnetic drill which allows the body and drilling head of the magnetic drill to move left/right and forward/backward after the magnet is adhered to the surface. Once a swivel base magentic drill is aligned a locking lever or pin is rotated to prevent further movement of the drilling head. Swivel base/swivel head magnetic drilling machines dramatically reduce operator fatigue when used on vertical and overhead services. On all surfaces Swivel base magnetic drills increase productivity and reduce alingment time.
